ELEMENT CHRISTMAS PARTY 12/21

This past Friday, we had our annual Christmas party and gift exchange. We started the night with a pot roast dinner followed by a brain scrambling ice breaker. We heard a message from two of our seniors about value and how that plays out in our lives. Then, we had an exciting gift exchange led by two of our junior students. Throughout the night, we enjoyed a dessert bar, a photo booth, and background music performed by the AHS jazz band.

HS ANGEL TREE PARTY 2018 (12/8)

We had the privilege of hosting an Angel Tree party yesterday afternoon! Three families came to the party and joined in for a time of good food, games, a short message, and gift giving. It was a really valuable opportunity for us to not only give gifts to these kids on behalf of their incarcerated parents but also share the love of Christ with them and their caregivers. Thank you students for all the work you put in to make this event happen!!

Element Friday - Lumberjack/jill night

We had our first themed Friday of the year: Lumberjack/jill night where people sported their favorite flannels, boots, and mustaches. We started the night with a mysterious ice breaker in which people had to use their taste and touch to identify different items. Next, we heard an impactful message from Mark 1 about Jesus healing a leper and then ended the night with Fruit of the Room where teams showcased their artistic skills through their creations made of fruit!
